Our Story
After completing a Fine Art honours degree at Duncan of Jordanstone Fiona was faced with that age-old question; what now?
She decided to explore her love for flowers and working with her hands and asked a local flower shop for some work experience. She knew from the moment she stepped through the door that she'd found her vocation in life.
With years of experience under her belt, she is well-versed in taking clients' ideas and creating floral magic with them. Her style is abundant and natural; letting the flowers do all the talking and using locally grown where possible.
In 2020 she and a group of like-minded florists formed Ochre Botanical Studios. They are passionate about creating beautiful, sustainable and ethical floral arrangements. They are lucky enough to have space to grow their own flowers in Granton Castle Community Walled Garden. Their mission is to grow responsibly and ethically.
